Scan a QR Code
Every certificate and roll number slip the Board issues carries a QR code. Scanning it opens the Board's own verification page.
How it works
Point any phone camera at the QR code printed on the document. It opens this site with the document's number and its verification token already filled in, and the answer appears without anything being typed.
No camera, or the code will not scan?
Nothing is lost. The number and the token are printed beside the QR code, and either verification page accepts them typed by hand.
What a scan proves, and what it does not
A scan confirms that the Board issued that document, to that person, and whether it is still valid. It cannot tell you that the paper in your hand is the original — a photocopy scans exactly the same. Where that matters, ask for the written verification.
