Checking an institute, not a person
If a candidate names the institute that trained them, you can confirm that institute is affiliated with the Board — and see whether it has been suspended.
A written verification
Where a signed letter is needed for a file or for an overseas employer, the Board issues one on request for a fee of Rs. 1,000, or Rs. 2,000 for urgent processing. Contact the Board with the certificate number.
If something does not check out
A certificate that fails verification is not automatically a forgery — a number can be mistyped, and a very recent award may not be recorded yet. Check the number, then tell the Board.
