What the Board charges, in full. Every amount here is the amount printed on the challan.
Candidate fees — course qualifications
Registration with the Board is free. The examination fee falls when your institute submits you for an examination session; the certification fee falls about a month after the result, with the certificate.

Candidate fees — Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
RPL is assessed, not taught, so it is priced as one amount against the NVQF level rather than split into stages.

Asking the Board to look again
Both are charged per course — one fee covers that course's theory and practical papers together — and both are applied for within one month of the result.

Institute fees
What an institute pays to affiliate with the Board and to keep that affiliation current.

Conditions that apply to every fee
- Registering a candidate with the Board is free. The first amount a course candidate pays is the examination fee, and it falls when the institute submits them for an examination session.
- Every amount is paid on a Board challan at a bank counter. An online, mobile or ATM transfer is not accepted.
- Fees are non-refundable, except where a re-check shows the Board made an error — in which case the re-checking fee is refunded in full.
- Re-checking and re-examination are charged per course. One fee covers that course's theory and practical papers together.
- An institute's initial affiliation covers up to seven trades. Any trade added later is charged separately, and an unused allowance is not carried forward.
